Looking for a breathtaking vacation destination? Look no further than Cape Town, South Africa! As a seasoned traveler, I recently made the decision to skip Istanbul for the entire month of March and return to Cape Town. With Covid restrictions and my recent immigration to Turkey, I hadn't been able to visit Cape Town for the last four years, so it was a long-awaited trip.
During my stay, I was thrilled to find an Airbnb management company that helped me rent out one of my two properties in the charming town of Simon's Town. The results were incredible, and I was so pleased that I decided to renovate the second property for short-term Airbnb rentals. Now, both properties are ready and available for booking, so if you're planning a trip to South Africa, be sure to contact me for a special offer.
Simon's Town
One of the biggest draws of Cape Town is its stunning beaches, breathtaking scenery, and vibrant culture. There are countless top tourist attractions, including Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, and the Cape of Good Hope. Simon's Town, where my properties are located, is a small town that boasts beautiful beaches, stunning scenery, and historic buildings.
It's most well-known for its penguin colony at Boulders Beach and the heartwarming story of "Just Nuisance," a Great Dane who became a beloved member of the South African Navy during World War II.
But that's not all South Africa has to offer. Its wine industry is among the largest in the world, with over 800 wineries located mainly in the Western Cape region. Some of the major wine regions of South Africa include Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Constantia, and Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. These regions offer unique characteristics and terroir, making for a truly unforgettable wine-tasting experience.
If you're considering a trip to Cape Town, keep in mind that the ideal time to visit is from December to April. During this period, Cape Town enjoys summer weather and experiences a high season for tourism, making it the perfect escape from Istanbul's cold season and low tourist season.
At House of Roza, we're always looking for ways to take our properties to the next level. With three new houses being added to our group, we're preparing ourselves for the high season and have some exciting new ideas in store.
Thank you for choosing House of Roza to manage your property, or if you're a guest, thank you for staying with us.
